Pence is out of CH DR Jac’s Redneck Rampage SR69349309 and Granmars Sweet Dreams SR63284509. His bloodline is from frozen semen from DC AFC M C Brett Jared O’Dee.
Pence is an outstanding Gundog and stud dog. He has excellent confirmation and a nice head and muzzle. We receive compliments on how beautiful he is and his nice temperament. These features have been reproduced several times over the years in his offspring.
Pence has a strong hunting desire and a controlled approach to hunting. He quarters the field until he has found the bird and when he goes on point, he is usually directly over the bird. He has been trained “steady to wing” and will hold point until he is released. This makes him a great asset for training puppies. He also works well when running with multiple dogs and it is fun to watch them back him.
Pence is one of the best retrievers that I have ever seen and owned. He is relentless in his search until he finds the downed bird. He amazes me how he will follow the bird in flight and be out of sight. It is not uncommon for him to be gone several minutes then suddenly appear with the bird.

True Grit Turkey Creek O'Dee Tripp
Tripp’s bloodline is from AFC Cooper’s Ozark Traveler who is a national field champion and in the Brittany Hall of Fame. Tripp is a frozen semen Gundog. The Dam of the breeding was True Grits M. C. Ruff – Shod Dustee O’Dee.
Tripp is a handsome Gundog with good confirmation. He has a strong running gait and good agility allowing him to move quickly and easily while quartering the field. He can easily cover enough ground to cover four to seven hunters at one time.
Tripp’s second greatest attribute is his outstanding nose. It is not uncommon for him to be “running the line” then lock up on point from 10-20 yards out. He is trained Steady to Wing and will hold point until the hunter arrives to kick the bird out.
The hunter reports from Tripp’s litters have been excellent. The puppies are starting young and have Tripp’s burning desire to hunt. The videos and pictures that I have seen of the puppies show much energy and intelligence. References can be provided upon request.

Dr Jac’s Turkey Creek Roxanne O’Dee
Roxie is the offspring of CH Rebelflame Chance MH and Dr Jac’s True Grits Missy O’Dee. Both the Sire and the Dam have good confirmation and an ardent desire to hunt.
Roxie is from the O’Dee bloodline, which is proven for good confirmation and strong field results. Roxie was purchased for selective line breeding to maintain continuity of the O’Dee bloodline. She is a smaller female weighing in at 37-pounds. She is fast, smart, competitive, and has a burning desire to hunt. She can easily stay up with my bigger stud dogs. She is trained Steady to Wing and backs the other dogs on point.
Roxie’s litter results have produced particularly good hunting dogs. She is a strong asset to our kennel.

Turkey Creek O Dee True Grits Ned Peppers Mattie
Mattie is the offspring of True Grits Lucky Ned Pepper SR78883703 and Turkey Creek Big Nose Kate SR91258510.
I was fortunate to have Ned Pepper for a few summers in my kennel to assist my guiding efforts. Ned’s bloodline went back to DC AFC Brett Jared O’Dee, which was a frozen semen dog. Ned was a field producer from the start and received many compliments from the hunters on his powerful desire to hunt, quarter the field, locate, lock up and hold point “Steady to Wing”. Ned’s retrieving ability was second to none and something you just had to see to believe. I was asked several times if I was going to breed him.
Ned was bred to my best Dam. Turkey Creek Big Nose Kate. Kate was a true producer in the field and had all the desired Gundog traits that a hunter would want to own. Her bloodline was from Nolen’s Last Bullet. One of the best producing stud dogs of all times.
Mattie was whelped 11/19/2022. She showed the desire to hunt as a young puppy and I took her to the field with my adult dogs a lot the first year. She has been on two hunting trips to Montana and in on much action. She has finished her training and is a true compliment to my hunting pack.
For more information on Mattie see the Pedigrees section and Stud Dogs Available section. You might also want to review the Testimonials section.
Turkey Creek O Dee Coopers Ozark Traveler Ned
Ned is out of True Grit Turkey Creek O’Dee Tripp and Dr Jac’s Turkey Creek Roxanne O’Dee. Ned whelped June 15, 2024. He is currently training in Basic Obedience and Yard & Field Training. Ned responds well to the Kennel command and hits the dog box immediately. He is also doing well with the Come command. His field training is going well, and he has Tripp’s nose and can locate a Chukar quickly. He is not shy about mouthing the bird and showing signs to retrieving and the Fetch command.

Turkey Creek Dusty II O'Dee Dream Catcher Rio

Rio is a frozen semen Gundog. Rio was selected with the intent of selective line breeding to maintain and improve the O’Dee bloodline. Her first litter was an out cross with our stud dog True Grit Turkey Creek O'Dee Tripp. The breeding produced Gundogs like Turkey Creek True Grit O'Dee Coopers Ozark Sisu. (See Sisu videos in the Services section of this website under Training Options.) Sisu and his litter mates are loving, intelligent, energetic, full of hunting desire, and have been easy to train. This same breeding will be done again in the spring of 2025.

Turkey Creek Big Nose Kate
Kate is out of one of our previous stud dogs Turkey Creek Jack Flash SR34122003 and TKC’s Rocket Ginger Dandy SR65421701.
Kate was one of my best Dams and Gundogs. She was truly a pleasure to hunt with. She had a genuinely nice temperament. In the field she was obedient and responsive. Kate weighed in at 35 pounds. Her hunting style was deliberate, and she would not give up on a scent. She would track a bird with her nose to the ground until she found the bird, then lock up and hold point. Kate had an incredibly good nose and could drift bird scent from quite a distance. Once she smelled the scent she would lock up and wait for me before advancing. This was an admirable trait that I enjoyed.
Kate is a descendant of the all-time great Nolen’s Last Bullet. Kate produced four exceptionally good litters. Turkey Creek O Dee True Grits Ned Peppers Mattie is currently in our kennel.
Kate has been retired to a former puppy customer in Fort Wayne, IN.
For more information on Kate see the Pedigrees section. You might also want to review the Testimonials section.

Turkey Creek Big Skye Kid
Skye is out of Turkey Creek Jack Flash SR34122003 and Turkey Creek Dakota Chubb SR78228604.

Turkey Creek Cool Hand Luke
Luke was out of Doc Holliday X SR35884602 and Turkey Creek Dakota Chubb SN78228604. He was born on July 24, 2009.
Luke has great confirmation and performed in the field with a strong gunning gait. He weighed at 40 pounds and has a sturdy-built body. He was very good at quartering the field and covering several hunters. Combined with Chubb's field strengths this produced very nice puppies for several hunters.
The featured in the picture is Luke. SR58165602
Turkey Creek Dakota Chubb
Chubb SN78228804
Chubb is out of Napoleon Lincoln Buck SN32992608 and Josephine Auten Buck SN62586703. Chubb was whelped October 25, 2000.
Chubb was much like her father Napoleon (Nappy) who was a solid Gundog with good field ability. Chubb was great at quartering the field, locating the bird, locking up and holding point until I got there to kick the bird out. She served me well for many years until her days were done as one of my best Dams.
Turkey Creek Western Spur
Spur – SS17545001
Featured in the picture is Spur as a puppy with her father Turkey Creek Dr Jac's Pence O'Dee (one of our Stud Dogs).

She has an ardent desire to quarter the field, locate, and hold Steady to Wing on point. She was great at backing the other dogs. She was very easy to train. Spur was sold at an early age and resides in Southern Indiana where she currently resides.
