Meet our newcomer Mattie.  Mattie is out of True Grits Lucky Ned Pepper & Turkey Creek Big Nose Kate.  Ned was one of the best Gundogs that I have ever hunted over.  Ned was very good at locating, holding point, and retrieving.  Kate was my best Dam with the same traits as Ned.

Mattie has a strong desire to hunt, good nose, and does a good job retrieving. I enjoy seeing her back another dog who is pointing.  She brings another dimension for breeding to my kennel with the Auten bloodline. (See pedigrees for further information).
